4 Ahmed Politics of Citation:
“citation as a rather successful reproductive technology, a way of reproducing the world around certain bodies.” (Ahmed 2013) “They are comfortable, like a body that sinks into a chair that has received its shape over time.” (Ahmed 2013)

5 Ahmed Small Groups (2-4):
How do you understand knowledge to be produced? Reproduced? Have you begun to encounter some “founding figures,” or “Key players” in your field? Who are they? What do you know about them? Do you know of any people in your field that aren’t always recognized for their contributions? What do you know about them? How does your field treat issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion? What do you notice about these ideas in your field? Major? Coursework? This class?
