2. ãÈå×ãcáäoÂB ãÌÇåcáäoÂB ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQ
In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the Merciful.

3. èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

4. ãÐã¢ånáB Ø㶠ãÐäÃÂB áÌå×ãÆáB CáÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅáÚáätÂáB
Peace be on You, O the trustee of Alláh on His earth,

5. ãÍãjCáRã® ÔÃá® âÐáXáä`âc áÑ and His Proof over His servants.

6. áÌå×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB áoå×ãÆáB CáÖ áÀå×áÃá® âÅáÚáätÂáB
Peace be on you, O Amír al-Mu’minín.

7. ãÍãjCáÏã_ áä¼ác ãÐäÃÂB Ø㶠áVåkáÎCá_ áÀáäÊáB âkáÏåwáB
I bear witness that, you strived in the way of Alláh as is due,

8. ãÐãä×ãRáÊ áÌáËâs áYå¯áRáäWB áÑ ãÐãQCáXã¿ãQ áYåÃãÇá® áÑ
and you acted upon His Book,
and followed the ways of His Prophet,

9. ãÐãÂB áÑ ãÐå×áÃá® âÐäÃÂB ÔäÃá{
blessings of Alláh be on him and his family,

10. ãÍãnBáÒã_ ÔÂãB âÐäÃÂB á½Cá®áj ÔäXác
until Alláh called You to His side.

11. áUáä`âdåÂB áÀãMDákå®áB áÅáqåÂáB áÑ ãÍãnCá×ãXågãCãQ ãÐå×áÂãB áÀá£áRá»á¶
So He took you to Him by His choice, and made incumbent upon your enemies the proof,

12. ãÐã»åÃág ã°å×ãÇá_ ÔÃá® ãUá³ãÂCáRåÂB ãaá`âdåÂB áÌãÆ áÀá CáÆ á°áÆ
with what you have of the considerable proofs,
over all of His creation.

13. á½ãnáká»ãQ æUáäËãNáÇå§âÆ Øãtå·áÊ åÄá¯å_CᶠáäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh then make my soul, satisfied with Your decree,

14. áÀãMEá®âj áÑ á½ãoå¾ãmãQ æUá¯áÂåÒâÆ áÀãMEá£á»ãQ æUá×ã¢Bán
pleased with what You have destined for me,
fond of Your remembrance and supplications,

15. áÀãMEáÇás áÑ áÀã¢ånáB Ø㶠æUáQåÒâRådáÆ áÀãMEá×ãÂåÑáB ãTáÒå·á|ã æUáäRãdâÆ
loving Your chosen friends, (and let me be) well­liked on Your earth and in Your heavens,

16. áÀãMEáÇå¯áÊ ãÄã¢BáÒá·ã æTáoã¾Cáw áÀãMÞáQ ãÁåÑâqâÊ ÔÃá® æTáoãQCá{
patient when You send down afflictions,
grateful for Your gracious blessings,

17. áÀãMEá»ã ãUácåoᶠÔÂãB æUáºCáXåxâÆ áÀãMÝB ã´ãQBáÒátã æTáoã¾Bál
remembering Your abundant bounties,
yearning for the happiness of meeting with You,

18. áÀãMEá×ãÂåÑáB ãÌáËâtãQ æUáäËáXåtâÆ áÀãMDáqá_ ãÅåÒá×ã ÓÒå»áäXÂB æTájãäÑáqáXâÆ
equipped with piety for the day of Your reward,
anchored in the traditions of Your friends,

19. áÀãMDákå®áB ã¹áÚågáÛ æUáºãnCá·âÆ avoiding the manners of Your enemies,

20. áÀãMEáËá[ áÑ á½ãkåÇádãQ Cá×åÊâäkÂB ãÌã® æUáÂåÒâ³åxáÆ
diverted from (love of) the world by
Your remembrance and Your praise.

21. çUáÏãÂBáÑ áÀå×áÂãB áÌå×ãXãRåhâÇåÂB áPåÒâÃ⺠áäÉãB áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh, the hearts of those who humble themselves before You, are full of love.

22. çUá®ãnCáw áÀå×áÂãB áÌå×ãRã²BáäoÂB áÄâRâs áÑ
The paths of those who desire You are fixed.

23. çUádã¢BáÑ áÀå×áÂãB áÌåÖãkã{Cá»åÂB áÅáÚå®áB áÑ
The signs for those who seek You are clear.

24. çUá²ãnCᶠáÀåËãÆ áÌå×ã¶ãnCá¯åÂB áTákãNå¶áB áÑ
The hearts of those who know You,
are empty of other than You.

25. çTákã®Cá{ áÀå×áÂãB áÌå×ã®BáäkÂB áVBáÒå{áB áÑ
The sounds of those who call You rise to You,

26. çUádáäXá·âÆ åÈâÏá ãUáQCá_ãÛB áPBáÒåQáB áÑ
and the gates of answers are open for them.

27. çUáQCá`áXåtâÆ á½Cá_CáÊ åÌáÆ áTáÒå®áj áÑ
The prayer of the one who whispers to you is answered.

28. çUáÂåÒâRå»áÆ áÀå×áÂãB áPCáÊáB åÌáÆ áUáQåÒáW áÑ
The repentance of the one who turns to You is accepted.

29. çUáÆåÒâcåoáÆ áÀã¶åÒág åÌãÆ Ô¿áQ åÌáÆ áTáoåRá® áÑ
The tears of the one who weeps in Your fear
are dealt with mercifully.

30. çTájåÒâ_åÒáÆ áÀãQ áZCá³áXåsB ãÌáÇã áUá[Cá²ãÛB áÑ
Help is available for one who cries for help from You,

31. çUáÂåÑâmåRáÆ áÀãQ áÉCá¯áXåsB ãÌáÇã áUáÊCá®ãÛB áÑ
and assistance is given generously to the one who seeks it.

32. çTáqá`åËâÆ á½ãjCáRã¯ã áÀãWBákã® áÑ
Your promises for Your servants are fulfilled.

33. çUáÂCá»âÆ áÀáÂCá»áXåsB ãÌáÆ áÄáÂápáÑ
The errors of the one who seeks to reduce them, are reduced.

34. çUáªåÒâ·ådáÆ áÀåÖáká áÌå×ãÃãÆCá¯åÂB áÁCáÇå®B áÑ
The actions of the doers (of good deeds), are preserved with You,

35. çUáÂãpCáÊ áÀåÊâká åÌãÆ ã¼ãMÞáhåÂB ÔÂãB áÀáºBápånáB áÑ
and the provision for Your creatures comes down.

36. æUáÃã{BáÑ åÈãÏå×áÂãB ãkåÖãqáÇåÂB ákãMDáÒá® áÑ
The promises of increase (in provision) reach them.

37. çTánåÒâ·å³áÆ áÌåÖãoã·å³áXåtâÇåÂB áPåÒâÊâl áÑ
The sins of those who seek forgiveness are forgiven.

38. çUáä×ã£å»áÆ á½ákåËã® áÀã»åÃág áaãMDáÒác áÑ
The needs of Your creatures are fulfilled.

39. çTáoáä¶áÒâÆ á½ákåËã® áÌå×ãÃãMEáätÂB áqãMDáÒá_ áÑ
The rewards of the beseechers are available in plenty, with You.

40. çTáoãWBáÒáXâÆ ãkåÖãqáÇåÂB ákãMDáÒá® áÑ
The promises of increase are continuous.

41. çTáäká¯âÆ áÌå×ãÇã¯å§áXåtâÇåÂB ákãMDáÒáÆ áÑ
Wholesome food is prepared for the hungry,

42. çUá®áoåXâÆ ãAEáÇãä«ÂB áÄãÎCáËáÆ áÑ
and drinks are filled for the thirsty.

43. ØãMEáËá[ åÄáRåºB áÑ ØãMEá®âj åSã`áXåsCᶠáäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh, so answer my prayer,
and accept my praise.

44. ØãMEá×ãÂåÑáB áÌå×áQ áÑ ØãËå×áQ å°áÇå_B áÑ Unite me with my friends,

45. ãÌå×átâdåÂB áÑ ãÌátádåÂB áÑ áUáÇã¦CᶠáÑ èäØãÃá® áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ãä¼ádãQ
for the sake of Muhammad, and `Alí,
and Fá>ima, \asan and \usayn (a.s.).

46. áÕCáËâÆ ÔÏáXåËâÆ áÑ ØãMEáÇå¯áÊ âäØãÂáÑ áÀáäÊãB
Surely You are, the Master of my bounties,
the Object of my desires,

47. áÕBáÒå\áÆ áÑ ØãRáÃá»åËâÆ Ø㶠ØãMEá_án âUáÖCá² áÑ
the goal of my hopes, in my ultimate end and my stable abode.

48. áÕáÙåÒáÆ áÑ Õãkãä×ás áÑ ØãÏÂãB áYåÊáB
(O Alláh) You are my God, my Lord, and my Master.

49. CáÊBálB åÌá® åÈâÏåÃá³åwB áÑ CáËáMDákå®áB CáäËá® áä¸â¾ áÑ CáËãMCá×ãÂåÑáÛ åoã·å²ãB
Forgive (the sins of ) our guardians, keep away our enemies from us, and divert them from troubling us.

50. Cá×åÃâ¯åÂB CáÏåÃá¯å_B áÑ ãä¼ádåÂB ãUáÇãÃá¾ åoãÏåªáB áÑ
Let the word of Truth become manifest and make it supreme,

51. ÔÃå·âätÂB CáÏåÃá¯å_B áÑ ãÄã¦CáRåÂB ãUáÇãÃá¾ å¤ãcåjáB áÑ
and let the word of falsehood be refuted
and make it low,

52. çoåÖãkẠèOå×áw ãäÄâ¾ ÔÃá® áÀáäÊãB
Surely You have power over all things.

53. èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áäÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB
O Alláh bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
