4. Understanding Fire
Combustion: A rapid reaction between oxygen and a substance called a fuel
Fuel: A material that releases energy when it burns.
Wood, oil gasoline, natural gas, and paper
The Fire Triangle:
Three things are necessary to start and maintain a fire:
Fuel
Oxygen
Heat
Once started, a fire will burn as long as all three components of the fire triangle are available.
If any of the three components are removed, the fire will die.

Faulty electrical wiring
