We must trust Jesus and Him only for salvation.
DISCIPLESHIP: A CALL TO SELF-DENIAL We must trust Jesus and Him only for salvation. “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25) “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’” (John 14:6)

Our first and foremost affection and love must be Jesus!
DISCIPLESHIP: A CALL TO SELF-DENIAL Our first and foremost affection and love must be Jesus! “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your might.” (Duet. 6:5) God is serious About Him being our first and foremost love!

In Christ we will fulfill our true God ordained purpose of glorifying and serving Him. “More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord…” (Phil. 3:8)
