I can determine the historical and social context of a text. I can figure out the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in context.

ELAGSE9-10W9: Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis, reflection, and research. CCRS L : Acquire and use accurately general academic and domain-specific words.
