Common Need Cost Effective Limited resources, time Request for Proposal Develop Survey Differences (language, Catholic/Public, titles) 5 min Michelle – how and why we got together, process, what was involved, meetings with the consultant, cultural/political issues, unions, job titles (e.g., administrative assistant classifications….) The first benefit of collaboration is an effective use of resources: Why/How we came together Process, what was involved, how we had to meet a couple times with the consultant to develop the survey, making compromises on the content and developing common language, working through issues, both catholic and public boards represented, different unions, job titles, etc.

What started off as a Needs Assessment Survey evolved into a platform for sharing best practices! Newsletters/Brochures Big Picture Series Keynote Speakers Training and Delivery Ideas 5 min LuAnn The third benefit of collaboration is the Training Needs Assessment Results and next steps: present information from the survey results comparison of Board sizes and demographics, show how different we all are but similar the results were Five heads are better than one
