2. The Assignment
At the end of each chapter, students will ask and answer a question related to deeper understandings from the chapter. Students will conduct research using multiple sources in order to analyze the information and draw conclusions (need source list as well) Students will write a short response: (1 paragraph) – Merry Christmas

3. Potential Questions (choose 1)
What happened during Oladuah Equiano’s life and why was he effective as he was in ending the slave trade?
Who was Florence Nightingale and why was she called The Lady with the Lamp?
Pick an imperialized country and detail what happened to them from the start of them being imperialized to the start of WWI (1914).
Think of your own! (Must get it approved before Monday)

4. The Set-Up
Answer the question by doing research and writing your findings in one paragraph
Keep in mind the corrections/suggestions made on previous assignments
Be sure to cite your answer (no Wikipedia) and put question at the top
Paragraphs should include
Topic sentence introducing the topic and concluding sentence wrapping up findings
Answer the question with a definitive answer and relevant historical examples
