2 Learning Outcomes. By the end of the lesson you should be able to… Recall what the purpose of a monologue is. Describe how we should evaluate a performance. Explain how you used your voice appropriately.

3 Monologues A monologue is a speech that a character delivers to the audience that shows their thoughts and feelings. Begin to write a monologue for one of the characters in the scene we did last week. It does not have to be the character that you played.
