Challenge 1 In your group make 2 partner balances. Use the cards if you need to. Remember to be safe and respect each other. Discover interesting ways to get in and out of each balance. You can use jumps, rotation, travelling moves (eg. skips) to help Evaluate – improve – perform (remember you can make mistakes)

Challenge 2 Linking Challenge
Use dice to create a sequence for your partner (up to 5 moves)….evaluate and perform again. (even number = balance. Odd number = rotation or travel) Can you select 1 routine and perform this together with rhythm and timing? What can you add anything to make this routine better?

Challenge 3 Creativity Take a partner balance and change it 3 times. Evaluate why you think some feel better than others. Take your 3 new partner balances and add gymastic skills in between them to create a new routine. Your skills could include rolls, jumps, travelling steps, solo balances. Evaluate your performance. How could your group perform better? Remember you can make some mistakes.

Challenge 4 Create a short gymnastics routine that has
Balance, rotation, jumps, inversion A change of direction A change of speed Matching or mirroring Cannon Evaluate your performance. Report to the teacher what you are going to do to improve
