Write the vocabulary word in the center of a 3x5 card with holes punched at the top (the same width as binder rings so they can be clipped into your notebook). Write the word neatly in normal print (not large block print).

the upper right-hand corner; if needed write the pronunciation
guide in the left-hand corner. Write the definition at the
bottom of the card in the middle.
