Reminders Cold and flu season is here, and be assured that we are using disinfectants and sanitizers liberally at school, trying to ward off the germs of the season. And although we certainly don’t want kids coming to school sick, we need our students at school if possible, so they can have a strong finish to the semester. We still have lots to learn! Our reading assessments will begin next week, and as before, students may or may not bring reading folder books home. Make sure to check backpacks for the purple folder. If it is there, your child has reading homework. If not, please read a book from home. Research shows that children who read or are read to at least 15 minutes daily show significant gains in reading achievement and on standardized test, including the ACT. It’s never too early to think about college!! Important Dates Teacher Tips for Success Dec. 7th – Gingerbread Projects Due - See attached Gingerbread Man Report sheet to help your child plan for his/her gingerbread man presentation to the class.
