OB OB: the study of the way people interact within the organization.
OB seeks to understand the behavior on the organization to know how people are likely to behave.

When people interact in organization, many factors come into play, such as:
Personality Motivation Job satisfaction and reward Leadership Authority and power Perception & learning Creativity Attitude Conflicts group & team

Personality Is a complex term, since it contains individual feelings, thoughts, cognitions, traits, and attitudes, visible and invisible behavior.

Note: that certain pattern of behavior is not visible, and is known only after proper testing of the individual behavior.

Motivation Is an internal and external factors that stimulate desire and energy in people to make more efforts to attain the objectives of organization.

Factors that enhance motivation
1. job enrichment: Job must redesign to provide opportunities for achievement, responsibility and growth.

Core time(work time) 2. flexi time:
To provide employees some control on their work time Core time(work time)

3. employment Providing authority to employees in their areas to operate for doing and solving their related problems.

4. Quality circle: Improving working conditions and self development. 5. Employee stock ownership plan: It is a plan in which employees are offered company stock as part of their benefit package
