(from TKAM) : As we go over the vocabulary from your stations last week, write down the synonyms and parts of speech. TKAM Body Biography: With your assigned group, follow the directions on the blue handout to create a body biography for the character you chose. TKAM Chapter 9 Reading: We will begin reading TKAM by following along with the “Sydthekid” audio. Work with your group to complete TKAM Questions set 1.

THURSday 3/28/2019 Agenda Fiction TED Talk: Complete the TED Talk graphic organizer as we watch the “How fiction can help us better understand our reality” episode. Vocab. 3B Review: Listen as I read the definitions for each word aloud. If you know the word, write it by the green light (bottom). If you are unsure, wait until you hear the answer and write the word next to red (if you do not know the meaning), or yellow (if you almost knew the meaning). Chapter 13 Reading: We will continue reading TKAM by following along with the “Sydthekid” audio. Work with a partner to complete TKAM Questions set 2 (yellow). HOMEWORK: READ CHAPTER 14 AND CONTINUE FILLING OUT THE CHARACTER CHART.

TKAM Part 1 Viewing: We will watch the movie version of To Kill a Mockingbird. Compare/contrast the movie to the book as you watch. HOMEWORK: HAVE A GREAT BREAK!
