Map A: Isotherms Did you: Connect points of equal value?
Use an interval of 10°F? Label your lines? Stop your lines when they go off the coast? Connect the lines through the center of the dot? Did you:

If more dots are needed, add some…

H L Did you: Map B: Isobars Decode your air pressure values properly?
Connect points of equal air pressure in concentric loops surrounding pressure centers? Draw the lines in a 4mb interval? Label inside the lines? Mark the high pressure center with an Mark the low pressure center with an H L

Map C: Wind Patterns Draw little arrows according to the directions…
Then draw larger arrows to represent general air flow now? Good! Finish the map! Recognize anything?

Map D. Now make the Synoptic Map!
Follow directions! Did you put everything on the map? PENCIL 1st! Hint- you’re making a mid-latitude cyclone. You already know where the low pressure center and the occluded front is. You know the general shape of a mid-latitude cyclone. Look for: precipitation ON a front air mass locations based on temperatures and relative humidity (look at air temp and dewpoint) signs of weather well ahead of a front (look at cloud cover). USE THE DIAGRAMS in your notes and do nows! YOU CAN DO IT! If you’d like to send me your rough draft on Edmodo, I’ll let know if you’ve got it!
