faveo, favere, favi, fautum to favor, support (literally, “give favor/support to”) credo, credere, credidi, creditum to believe (“to give belief/trust to”) placeo, placere, placui, placitum to please (‘to be pleasing to’) respondeo, respondere, respondi, responsum to respond/reply (‘to respond/reply to’)
