This is an opportunity to design, fabricate, and sell a product allowing a consumer to walk on water and collect orbs for family fun.

Our Gantt Chart shows the schedule we followed to complete the project within a reasonable time frame

We opted to perform extensive research on previous attempts, equations, and materials.
Buoyancy Equation- Fb = pgV = pghA Optimize Surface Tension

We decided through a customer survey that our product needed to be cost effective, durable, and user friendly. Stakeholders: Investor: Class Inventors: Us Mentor: Tom Consumers: 15-25 Target Audience (explain why)

We asked customers what they wanted the most and created specifications based upon what they said.

After a series of brainstorming sessions, we put our ideas through a plethora of tests to determine our final design.

Our Concept scoring and screening led us to the optimal design.

After choosing our design we bought materials and started to CAD our product.
Bill of Materials 14 Pool $2.00 /one = $26.00 3 Rolls of Duct $6.00/one = $18.00 10 ft of ½ inch PVC $2.25 2 Boogie $5.00 each = $10.00 Factory $6.00 Total Price = $62.25 Total per person = $15.50

Buoyancy and other calculations of our final design using excel.

When transferring from prototype to final design, the look and cost would be altered.
Cost in bulk: Water Resistant Adhesive - $28.87/36oz - $4.82/device (6oz) Rubber sheet - $48.43/ 1000 sq ft - $3.64/device (75 sq ft) PVC - $25/100 feet - $2/device (8ft) Pool noodles - $900/3000pc - $4.20/device (14ct) $14.66 Total +Labor and shipping

Leading up to the final day, we built and tested our device.

On Wednesday, we found out our design was not buoyant enough so we added an extra boogie board and foam to the side.

On Friday, we eventually walked 70% of the way there and mounted it from the water.

In conclusion, after we went through the engineering process, we found that our device, with a few modifications, is a viable way of walking on water that applies to the customer needs.
