Rapid growth of industry and farming Technological press Increased consumer demand GDP grew from $78 billion to $103 billion The number of households with a radio rose from 60,000 to 10 million The number of people filing income tax returns for earnings of more than $1 million a year rose from 65 to 513 The number of airline passengers grew from less than 6000 in 1926, to approximately 173,000 in 1929

When and Why did the war end
November 11, 1918 Russia had already left the war a year ago -> At the start of 1918, Germany appeared to be winning the war. “Michael Offensive” attack backfired -> the power of the German troop went downhill with the German Navy going on a strike. WWI ended when WWII ended? (trailer of TV show -> recommend to students interested in knowing about the two world wars)

Effect of Technology New technologies were introduced, and it caused a massacre and made it difficult for the infantry soldiers than before. New weapons like Rapid-Firing Guns, Tactical Air Support, and Poison Gas Many lives were lost, causing fewer people left in the army in some countries. The British made tanks which somewhat succeeded, which carried the men, making it much easier to protect themselves
