Angela Watts Jazzy Pups

Risks involved in Cheerleading
It is important that parents know the risks associated with cheerleading. They include: Head injury including concussion Spinal injury Death While we follow strict safety procedures, we cannot eliminate all of the risks associated with cheerleading. Parents/Guardians will need to sign an informed consent form following try- outs explaining these risks along with the procedures we must follow by law if an athlete suffers from a concussion.
3
Grades & Behavior Athletes must be passing all of their classes in order to be on the Jazzy Pup team. We will check grades at the end of each 9 weeks. Athletes must have exemplary behavior. Excessive minor referrals (5) or major office referrals are grounds to dismiss an athlete from the team. Jazzy Pups are role models and are expected to be an example to the rest of the students in the school.
