INTRODUCTION (WSSC) is among the largest water and wastewater utilities in the nation, serving nearly 1.8 million residents in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. Within these two counties, WSSC operates and maintains over 5,600 miles of sanitary sewer pipelines. Include personal history of professional background

WSSC approach: Condition Assessment
Consistency in Asset Management Standardized data collection NASSCO Manhole inspections Pipeline inspections Lateral Inspections Non-standardized data collection Smoke testing Dye testing Flow isolation Consistency in Asset Management affects engineering’s data collection. For example, sewer inspection is standardized with NASSCO. We don’t have standards for smoke or dying testing, but have to ensure the consistency.
