2. Student Food Pantry
As a class we are presenting the idea of a Student food pantry.
We feel there is a need for a place where food insecure students can obtain food during times that the University Center and SHU shop are not open as well as if they no longer have enough through the meal plan.
The pantry’s intended user would be those students who financially cannot afford to go and purchase food when they are hungry.

5. Pantry
The pantry itself will be either a pre built shelving unit or a custom built shelving unit. The decision for which will depend on the location that the pantry will be placed.
The Pantry will become the responsibility of the group that is designated to take it over for our class, either as part of a class or taken over by a department.
