4.During this course 40% of training is done in the classroom and swimming pool whereas 60% of course is done in open water.

5. Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility of the candidates must be 10th pass.
He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.
