Our Competitive Events are divided into five divisions:
Finance
Business Administration
Management Information Systems
Digital Communication and Design
Management/Marketing/Communication
Coincides with the curriculum

4. Torch Awards Program Represents the Seven Torches –
Friendship, Cooperation, Love, Hope and Faith, Patriotism, Leadership, Service, and Knowledge
Promotes member participation in community involvement, adaptability and action, inside and outside, of BPA
Four Participation Levels –
Diplomat, Executive, Statesman, Ambassador

Special Olympics is BPA’s national service project. Member

Plan an operating budget
Create membership recruitment activities
Offer multiple programs of activities for your membership
Plan fundraising activities that align with your budget projections

BPA offers many scholarships through the state and nationally
There are 14 Texas BPA scholarships. The applicant with the highest score of all the entries will receive the “Mildred Woerndel Scholarship” worth $2,500.00

Chapter/Local Officers – Elected at the local level and serving their chapter members
Regional Presidents – Elected at the Regional level, serving the Regional membership
State Officers – Elected at the State Leadership Conference by chapter delegates, serving the entire Texas membership
National Officers – Elected at the National Leadership Conference by state delegates and serving all members
