-Unicellular Archaebacteria – no peptidoglycan - Prokaryotic unique cell walls - Autotrophic and Heterotrophic Found in extreme environments such as Salt lakes, Deep Oceans, and Hot Springs exceeding 100 degrees C. Some may live in an Oxygen-free environment
