2 Written Testimony Written Testimony:
Written testimony, that will be submitted to the committee holding the hearing, and to which you are testifying should some combination of the following: Heading: - Formally Address the Committee Chair, and Committee Members - Identify yourself, and any group or organization you represent, if relevant. - State whether you Support or Oppose the bill Body: (Varies by whether your experience/expertise is Technical or Personal) Technical Expert: - (One Sentence): Thanks for opportunity to weigh in on … - (One Paragraph): Talk about the organization you represent, what it does for state/community. - (3 paragraphs to 3 pages) point-by-point argument, referencing the bill that explains why you support or oppose it. - Thank Committee for their time, give them your contact Information.

4 Written Testimony Oral Testimony: 3 Minutes or less (1 to 1.4 pages max, 14 pt font, bulleted) Written testimony, that will be submitted to the committee holding the hearing, and to which you are testifying should some combination of the following: Introduction: - Formally Address the Committee Chair and Members - Identify yourself, and any group/organization you represent. - Identify the Bill and whether you Support or Oppose it Body: (Varies by whether your experience is Technical or Personal) Technical Expert: - (1-2 Sentences) Establish your expertise - (1-2 Sentences) Assessment what the bill will do, and why you oppose or support it - Best 3 points/arguments (use data, research, especially if you have new information, it is ok to be technical) - Thank Committee, Tell them you have more information in your written testimony.
