WHAT WE DO
Help identify and process resource requests from FEMA Sectors and Nonprofits
Tailor resource and opportunities identification data opportunity packages
Provide publicly available information about federal and philanthropic funding opportunities
Communicate to the larger philanthropy world Puerto Rico’s big picture recovery needs
Help align private sector corporate social responsibility (CSR) contributions to PR recovery
WHAT WE DON’T DO
Complete funding applications on behalf of the applicants/grantees
Influence or participate in a funder decision;
approve, disburse or manage funds
Endorse, give preferential treatment, or recommend grantees to foundations
Offer specific guidance to a foundation about the needs of grantees
Make direct connections between NPO and funders

5. Our Organizational Structure
Our team provides an array of tailored solutions through a collaborative approach.   
SERVICE PROVIDERS UNIT Works with nonprofits and other service organizations to support the identification of priorities, unmet needs, challenges, and strategies.
RESOURCE IDENTIFICATION UNIT Researches funding, technical assistance, capacity building, and other key community unmet needs; and pairs them with appropriate and accessible resources
PHILANTHROPIC ALLIANCES UNIT Supports and facilitates donor efforts for targeted investment in Puerto Rico's recovery by strengthening dialogue and collaboration among elements on the island, the U.S. mainland and globally.
