Alliteration: when the first sounds in words repeat. Example: Peter Piper picked a pickled pepper. We lurk late. We shoot straight.                                                             

3 Stan the strong surfer saved several swimmers on Saturday.
                                                             Tiny Tommy Thomson takes toy trucks to Timmy’s on Tuesday.

4 Vowels: a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y.
Assonance: The repetition of internal vowel sounds. Vowels: a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y. Does not have to rhyme!

5 Princess Kitty will kiss Timmy T. Tippers’s lips
                                                                                                              Princess Kitty will kiss Timmy T. Tippers’s lips The pain may drain Drake, but maybe the weight is fake.

6 Consonance When consonants repeat in the middle or end of words.
Consonants: all other letters.( except for vowels) Examples: Jack struck a streak of bad luck. Mammals named Sam are clammy.
