2. Prose vs. Verse
Prose = the word prosaic means common, not fanciful or imaginative (regular old writing)
Verse = poetry; consisting of imagery and metaphor

Servants speak in prose
Nobility spoke in verse
The servant who can’t read is given a list of names. As he talks (39-41) he muddles on workers and their trade
Is the servant clever or stupid?
