2. A Threefold Cord Because of my commitment to my spouse…
I will love her as I love myself and put her interests before my own.
I will respect her and give her honor.
I will seek to solve disagreements, admit when I am wrong, and be quick to forgive.
I will give her the affection she deserves.

3. A Threefold Cord Because of my personal relationship with God…
I will submit to His plan for my marriage.
I will do my part even if my spouse does not reciprocate.
I will not take the easy way out of a tough situation.
Heaven is my focus, and my marriage will be a help not a hindrance to that goal.
