Walking or Wheeling Teachers Guide

What is WOW- Walking or Wheeling
Walking Or Wheeling (WOW) is an incentive scheme that rewards children for active* travel on the journey to school (*Walking, Scooting, Cycling, Park and Stride and Public Transport). Children record their mode of travel each day and are rewarded with badges when they achieve a set amount of active travel journeys during a half term period, this averages out to approximately 3 active journeys per week. We recommended that WOW is carried out first thing in the morning along with registration.
