Figure 6 Assessment of epsilon wave importance for arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia (ARVC/D) diagnosis in the pooled data set of 105 patients with ARVC/D and epsilon waves out of 815 patients with definite ARVC/D from 5 large ARVC/D registries (see Table 1 for details). Exclusion of the major and minor depolarization criteria from the diagnostic score would not affect the definite diagnostic category in 95 patients (90%). Of the 10 patients who would loose their definite ARVC/D diagnostic category, 9 still have a positive terminal activation duration criterion and therefore would still meet diagnostic criteria for ARVC/D. In total, only 1 of 105 patients with epsilon waves had ARVC/D diagnosis dependent on the presence of epsilon waves.
