2012 Merit Award
The Central Texas Conference Merit Award is presented to a newly admitted student of a United Methodist affiliated school.
The amount of the award is determined by the conference-wide contributions to the UM Student Day offering given in the year previous, but it is generally around $1,000. Every church in the conference is invited to nominate one student each year for the Merit Award. However, only students from congregations that participated in the previous year’s Student Day offering are eligible for this award.
