FIGURE 1 Identification of calcium sensing receptor (CaSR) in human oocytes (lane A) and cumuli oophori (lane B) by Western blot analysis. The protein equivalent of 100 oocytes and 50 cumuli oophori was loaded. The proteins were subjected to SDS-PAGE on a linear gradient running gel of 4%–12%. The CaSR protein was detected with a primary antibody against a 20–amino acid peptide sequence near the C-terminus of human CaSR. In the corresponding right panels (A′–C′), the fluorescence intensity encountered along the programmed scan line was recorded and plotted against the coventional pixel unit scale (0–255).
