Many staff contributed to the UCL response, which was amongst over 12,000 responses received nationally. The government has published the consultation findings together with a Statement of Intent outlining the changes they intend to make. In addition they have published a separate Statement of Intent regarding changes to study and post-study work for students. Subject to the laying of Parliamentary rules, these changes will be effective from 6 April 2012.
