A Note from the Teacher
What Are we learning?
* Math – identifying and comparing fractions, finding equivalent fractions and simplifying, and putting fractions on a number line
* Reading – main idea and key details, summarizing,
* Science – the human skeleton
Welcome back! 2019 is off to a cold start. I just want to remind you that even when we begin to have half days and early dismissals due to snow, we still have a lot of work to do. Please try your best to get your students here even on those days. Please communicate with Ms. L, Mr. V and me if there is a reason your child will not be in school. Thank you in advance for this.
The new year is a great time to reset expectations as well. We have been working on this at school, but would greatly appreciate your help reminding students of proper school behavior.
Another thing that happens after half a school year of hard work is that we begin to run out of supplies. If you could send tissues, paper towels, pencils, hand sanitizer or white board markers to school the class and teachers would greatly appreciate it!
