1777 the Continental Congress adopted the first the 13 stripes of alternate red and white. Originally 13 stars represented 13 colonies.

According to custom and tradition, white signifies purity and innocence; red, hardiness and valor; and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

You must write a 1 page essay explaining how one of the words from the Word Wall applies to your country. Typing is preferred, do it in MLA format. (12 pt. font, Times New Roman, double spaced, 1” margins)
