5. Tool and Equipment Safety
Always Respect the Equipment
We will have demonstrations in the shop on the proper use of equipment

6. Materials Safety Wear gloves when handling rough lumber
Wear gloves when metal working
Always pay attention when someone is metal working because you don’t want to grab it while it’s HOT!!!

7. Chemical Safety
Gas, Paint, Lacquer thinner, Mineral Spirits, WD-40, Oil, etc. are Flammable, SO BE CAREFUL!!!!!
ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES!!!

8. Workplace Behavior
Do not distract or crowd anyone while they are using equipment!
No Horseplay!
There is a 2 foot safety zone around all equipment.

9. Fire Safety Don’t start Fires!!!
Be careful with Hot Metal, It can start Fires.
Notify me Immediately if you see a fire.

10. First Aid First Aid Kits are in the Shop.
In case if Emergency call 911 from the phone in my office or I will call 911 on my cell-phone.
