5. Who is Mrs. Cornell?
This is my 16th year teaching; experiences all over the world: LCPS; Alexandria, VA; Genoa, Italy; South Texas
Graduated from Washington & Lee University with a degree in Economics, Masters in Education from University of Texas Pan American, and attained Gifted Endorsement from UVA
Began my “work life” doing investment banking but switched to education via the Teach for America program
I have two children: Luke – 5  and Anna – 3. 
My husband is a 5th grade teacher at Banneker Elementary in Middleburg.
