Victory in the West Colonel George Rogers Clark led the militia over the British. Won fort at Vincennes, controlled the Ohio River Valley

Situation in the South Lord Cornwalis starts in Savannah and moves north into Virginia. Naval blockades readily supply his forces as it gains strength moving north.

Battle of Yorktown Cornwalis was surrounded on this peninsula and was being bombarded. Escape routes were blocked and he was forced to surrender. October 18, 1781 Cornwalis surrendered to Washington.

2. Border with British Canada was set along the Great lakes. 3. Mississippi River set as boundary with Spanish west. 4. Florida was returned to Spain. 5. British troops removed from U.S. 6. Rights and properties of all Loyalists were restored.
