Servomechanism control systems A servomechanism control system reduces the error of the system and improves the output mechanism.A servomechanism control system reduces the error of the system and improves the output mechanism. Due to error blocking the efficiency of the device increases.Due to error blocking the efficiency of the device increases. Open loop control system In an open loop control system, the input demand generates an electric equivalent of the demand position. This signal is amplified to require power level and applied to a motor to position the load. The output is unlikely to follow the input precisely and cannot provide close tolerance required. Closed loop control system In a closed loop control system if the errors are in the output of a system are detected and fed back to the input so that the necessary corrections can be made to reduce the error In a closed loop control system if the errors are in the output of a system are detected and fed back to the input so that the necessary corrections can be made to reduce the error Figure: Block Diagram representing a closed loop Figure: Block Diagram representing a closed loop servomechanism control system servomechanism control system

Servomechanism Motion Control Helps to maintain speed of a motor within certain limits even when on the output of the motor might vary.Helps to maintain speed of a motor within certain limits even when on the output of the motor might vary. Speed and load of the motor varies according to an externally set program of values, which is also known as reference tracking.Speed and load of the motor varies according to an externally set program of values, which is also known as reference tracking.

Remote Positioning Control System It is used to control the position of mechanical element from a distant point with a very high degree of accuracy. It is used to control the position of mechanical element from a distant point with a very high degree of accuracy. One example is the turning dial of a radio receiver, but the element to be controlled is not limited; it could be the altitude control of an airplane, a compass repeater or any kind of multitude mechanical devicesOne example is the turning dial of a radio receiver, but the element to be controlled is not limited; it could be the altitude control of an airplane, a compass repeater or any kind of multitude mechanical devices

Cabin Temperature Control The sensor is located mid cabin adjacent to the TACCO cooling air inletThe sensor is located mid cabin adjacent to the TACCO cooling air inlet The purpose is to ensure adequate airflow over the sensor which measures cabin temperature and sends a signal along with a signal from the cabin air selector to the cabin air temperature control. The purpose is to ensure adequate airflow over the sensor which measures cabin temperature and sends a signal along with a signal from the cabin air selector to the cabin air temperature control. The cabin air temperature control then directly sends the cabin temperature modulating valve to maintain the selected temperature in the cabinThe cabin air temperature control then directly sends the cabin temperature modulating valve to maintain the selected temperature in the cabin

Engine Fuel Control Engine fuel control is used to increase or decrease the power at will to obtain the thrust required for any operating conditionEngine fuel control is used to increase or decrease the power at will to obtain the thrust required for any operating condition In turbine powered aircraft this control is provided by varying the flow of fuel to thee combustion chambersIn turbine powered aircraft this control is provided by varying the flow of fuel to thee combustion chambers
