2. QUESTION
Would magnet power or air power work best for a hoverboard?

3. BACKGROUND
I chose this subject because I was always fascinated with hover crafts. I always wanted a hoverboard ever since I saw it in the instant classic BACK TO THE FUTURE. Now I’m here to try to get a step closer to see if it can be real or just movie magic.

4. HYPOTHESIS
If I use magnet power vs. air power to make a board hover , then magnet power will work best.

5. VARIABLES Independent- How I power the hoverboard
Dependent- the height and qualibility
Constant- flat surface, weight of board, length of board

6. PROCEDURE (magnet power)
1.]gather materials [2.]hot glue at least 2 or 3 layers of 4 inch by 2 inch pieces of foam board together [3.] glue 2 magnets to the bottom of the board [4.] put another 2 magnets on a flat surface at the same pole[north to north or south to south]

7. PROCEDURE PART 2 (air power)
1] gather materials [2] hot glue cap to the CD hole [3] put balloon on lid [4] blow up balloon [5] put balloon down on table [balloon side up]
