Activity! 3 biggest dilemmas.
(Dilemma: A difficult situation or problem) Using in Geography Alive!, read the 3 sections explaining the population dilemmas. Your job is to summarize the causes of each dilemma, the problems associated with each, and the responses to each dilemma. You will then be completing a short writing exercise.

Assessment: Writing Exercise
You will be required to connect this new information to your previous knowledge of the European Migrant Crisis. There is a newspaper article at the front of the room that you should also reference. You must use evidence to support your claims… what does this mean?

Tips for writing: Do not use “I”- it’s unprofessional! (Ex: ‘The biggest problem facing Europe is…’ NOT ‘I think the biggest problem is…’) A paragraph needs a minimum of 3 sentences Use proper grammar and spelling If including a quotation, please be sure to use quotation marks and mention the source you are quoting.
