7 Putting God First In Our Finances
Some have comfortable incomes. Some have limited incomes. We are called to give as we have been prospered. 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Are you a cheerful giver?

8 Do You See Your Giving As An Investment?
God blesses according to our generosity Luke 6:38 – “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure – pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

9 How Do You View Your Employment?
Ephesians 4:28 – He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need.” Our jobs are not just to buy stuff for ourselves.

10 God Can Cause Us To Be Blessed
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written, ‘He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, his righteousness endures forever.’ Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality….” 2 Cor. 9:8-11

11 God Has Unlimited Resources
Malachi 3:10 – “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” God controls the windows of heaven. He is able to pour out overflowing blessings to those who give willingly.

12 Giving Brings It’s Own Rewards
Acts 20:35 – “In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

13 God Blesses Us For Blessing Others
Philippians 4:18-19 – “But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
