6. Nehemiah 1:5-11

8. Seizing Promises
Both these men saw a promise of God and worked to understand what it meant. Then they prayed (their part) knowing that God had spoken to them, and that their effort was now required. This teaches us several things: God’s promises are not unconditional, and that prayer is not a petition to God, it is a response to God.

10. A Constant Presence

How is eternal life obtained? Belief – "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

How is eternal life obtained? Belief with Confession – if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; Romans 10:9
