ITU-R WP8F has an initiative underway to identify air interfaces for inclusion in IMT-Advanced
Question ITU-R 229/8 then M.1645 “Framework and overall objectives of the future development of IMT‑2000 and systems beyond IMT‑2000”
Nomadic/ local area class targets 1 Gbps with low mobility!
IMT-Advanced Technical Requirements are nearly complete
