2. Social and emotional learning shall be included at a developmentally appropriate level within the health curriculum in all grades.
Elementary School: Mental and Emotional Health, Bullying/Cyberbullying, Decision Making, Tobacco, Alcohol and other Drugs, and Sexuality.
Middle School: Bullying/Cyberbullying and Reporting, Self-image, Making Decisions, Coping with Anxiety and Anger, Violence and the Media, Tobacco, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Assertiveness, Resolving Conflicts, Resisting Peer Pressure, Sexting, and Suicide Prevention.
High School: Anger Management, Decision-Making, Assertive Behaviors, Online Safety, Preventing Self-Harm, Over-the-Counter and Prescription Drug Abuse, Illicit and Illegal Drugs, Healthy Relationships, and Opioid Awareness.
