Credit standing of consumers at the bureaus
As at the end of December 2016 there were credit active consumers of which 59.9% (14.55 million) were in “good standing”. The balance of 40.2% (9.76 million) had some form of “impaired record”.

The number of accounts listed at the bureaus at the end of December 2016 was million, 75.7% (62.41 million) were in “good standing”. The balance of 24.2% (20.01 million) accounts had “impaired records”.
