How the scale up to ACM agencies works?
Awareness creation - posters, ACMs, workshops & media Data held by DoF IACD Database. DoF IACD scrutinizes data and records in DBMS. Cases identified for agencies sent to them for investigation. Agencies report progress through ACMs. DoF IACD investigates the cases retained by it. ACMs monitor the progress of investigations. DoF IACD feeds the investigation results in DBMS. Quarterly report submissions to DoF. DoF IACD provides all necessary support. The scale up supported by UNDP ACPIS, a joint initiative of AusDFAT and UNDP. Solomon Islands too looking to replicate. Pilot phase reported 560 cases and the scale up phase from April 2018 reported 280 cases (2,788 texts). Big challenge now is to ensure effective investigations of these at agency levels. ACPIS funds helped create awareness through 31 ACMs & 15 workshops; this was possible through partnerships with IACD, PCaB, PSC and TI-PNG This program has shown to be effective in enhancing good governance through citizen participation.
