Horizontal scales: (1) FIM instrument measures at top and bottom of graph ranging from 0 to 100, with higher values reflecting greater independence. (2) Percentiles ranging from 0 to 99, with higher values reflecting performance better than that percentage of persons in the SCIRehab sample. (3) FIM instrument category labels ranging from 1 to 7, reflecting increasing levels of functional independence for each item.
