The Exploration and Production division is one of the two business units comprising Petrotrin. These operations span the entire southern half of the island.

An Environmental Management System was developed and implemented for onshore operating districts of the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited in accordance with the ISO 14001:1996 Standard, and was recommended for certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in September 2002.
