4 What is air pressure? Watch this video and this video. After the video you will be making a group definition of air pressure.

5 Create a definition of Air Pressure with your group.
Be prepared to share out. Write your definition at the top of the page 46R.

6 Write the internet definition under your group definition:
Air pressure is the force exerted onto a surface by the weight of the air. Air pressure is the force exerted by air, whether compressed or unconfined, on any surface in contact with it.

7 Create 2 data tables under your definition on page 46R

8 Go to wunderground.com to complete the data table
Enter Culver City into the search location Click on Full forecast Choose History Pick July 11,2016 and record (in table 1) 3 different temperatures and the pressure for that temperature. Do the same for December 30, 2016 and a date of your choice. Reorganize your data in table 2 so that your temperatures are in order from lowest to highest. temperatures.

9 Create a Model Pg. 46L At the top of the page create a model of a balloon in a container of room temp air warm air and cold air be sure to show and explain air pressure!!! Use fatter arrows to show more pressure and skinnier to show less pressure.
